Compared with WG-211. WG-261 is for large fillet size.  They have same function but different measuring range. Checking the perfect fillet weld is easy, but not easy for convex, concave welds or a combination of both. Thanks to ROK Fillet Welding gauge. The inspector can use it more simply.  The Gauge is based on the principle that fillet weld has a cross section that is essentially a triangle. If the two members bejing joined are at right angles to each other. The cross section of the fillet weld resembles an isosceles right triangel.
