The Leeb measuring method was first brought into measurement technology in 1978. It is defined as the quotient of an impact body’s rebound velocity over its impact velocity, multiplied by 1000. Harder materials produce a higher rebound velocity than softer materials. For a specific group of material (e.g. steel, aluminum. etc.), Leeb hardness value represents a direct relationship to its hardness properties. For ordinary metal, conversion curves of hardness HL versus other standard static hardness (HB, HV, HRC, etc.) are available, enabling you to convert HL into other hardness values.HT-2008 is an advanced state-of-the-art palm sized metal hardness tester with many new features.Using our patent technology, HT-2008 is a new generation product. It has high accuracy:+/-2 HL (or 0.3% @HL800) with high contract OLED display and wide environment temperature(-40ºC~70ºC). Apart from huge memories in 400 blocks with 360k data, HT-2008 can download measuring data to PC and printout to micro-printer by USB port and wirelessly with internal Blue-tooth module. The battery can be charged simply from USB port, also it has a
customer re-calibration and statistics function.
HT-2008 DL is equipped with two-in-one probe. With unique two-in-one probe, HT-2008 DL can convert between probe D and probe DL simply by changing impact body. It’s
more economic than buying them individually. It has the same configuration with HT-2008 DL except two-in-one probe.
